The publishers represented in the Press Council are organized in the association of Luxembourg publishers, the ASSOCIATION LUXEMBOURGEOISE DES MEDIAS D’INFORMATION (ALMI).
The association intends to develop cooperation between its members in the area of common interests, in particular through the comparison of points of view, the exchange of information and joint studies. Furthermore, the association represents its members in media organizations, nationally and internationally, as well as vis-à-vis third parties, authorities and especially trade unions. The association aims to defend the moral and material interests of the news media, to promote the Luxembourg media companies, to emphasize their social and economic role and to promote their interests in the advertising industry.
